Abisko delta mast

This site is located in N.Sweden within the Abisko Scientific Research station (ANS) managed by the Swedish Polar Institute. Full information on the ANS station is given at the ANS official web page. The site is located in the delta area of the Abiskojåkka river. The vegetation is dominated by birch forest (Betula pubescens) with an understorey layer of herbs and grasses.

NordSpec Measurements

NDVI and PRI is measured from the birch forest mast using Skye sensors. We also measure reflected and absorbed photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) below and above the forest canopy.
